Just heard on the news that a tree holding a sea eagles nest has been cut down in Scotland ... Have you got a chainsaw lab ...........

:laugh: ....Not me but well done to who ever did it. I remember 2 seasons ago a pair turned up on the estate i pick up on...started taking poults and stuff. The keeper was interviewed about them and it was on tv about the damage they were causing, could have been countryfile. :hmm: Anyway if one of these birds was to build a nest on the shoot then there would be an immediate exclusion zone on shooting which in turn would have been disasterous for the shoot. Cant believe the legalities that follow these introduced birds.

Gon the axe men..... :toast::toast::toast::toast:

Not good, not good at all. They were introduced because narrow minded eejits like yourself persecuted them just so rich snobs can shoot pheasants and grouse etc. Your a sound lad and i like your posts but your way off the mark here.

Ok you can tell me why they were needed to be re-introduced please.? What greatness have the done? Its a joke cause the vast majority of the country doesnt even know what a f***ing sea eagle is but once again anyone trying to make a living in the shooting industry has to give in because so fanny decides to introduce them.... :yes:

Maybe they were introduced because they were persecuted by keepers until they became extinct?????? In my eyes the sea eagle has more right than the pheasant to living here.

Pheasants get killed left right and centre on our roads yet keepers go out of their way to kill birds of prey. FFS some roads round here are literally carpeted with pheasant as there are thousands getting released yet the same keepers actively kill anything with a hooked beak. You should hang your head in shame.

I suspect that the felling contractor had a HUGE oh shit moment after seeing that tree fall. I doubt very much it was a deliberate act, the estate are distancing themselves big style before the BBC hang them.

As for the arguments above, I`m firmly on the fence here,, can see the shoots issues, I am involved with a large commercial shoot and know the havoc Bop`s cause but still love to see them,, (Buzzards aside that is,, b*****ds !!)
